The Avalon chaise lounge frame is made of recycled teak with a bed of Batyline® mesh fabric.
The open weave design of the fabric allows it to dry quickly and stay cool in the sun. It is very durable, completely weatherproof and UV resistant. The back can be adjusted in multiple positions.
The teak wood has been reclaimed from old buildings, warehouses and sheds found on the island of Java where teak has been used for centuries. Recycled teak has a truly unique character with each piece having specific variations.
Color differences, knots and small cracks are the result of the natural growth; small holes are left where nails were used, bigger holes where bolts were used and occasional corrosion stains and building marks give each piece an exceptional charm. Each piece has been kiln dried and given a semi-smooth wire brush finish.
Furniture frames have a 1 year warranty against manufacturing workmanship and defects.
