The chairs are stackable and have arms with inlaid teak with the back and seat made of white or black Batyline®. Batyline is extremely durable has exceptional weather and UV resistance and it is easily cleaned with soapy water.
The teak wood has been reclaimed from old buildings, warehouses and sheds found on the island of Java where teak has been used for centuries. Recycled teak has a truly unique character with each piece having specific variations.
Color differences, knots and small cracks are the result of the natural growth; small holes are left where nails were used, bigger holes where bolts were used and occasional corrosion stains and building marks give each piece an exceptional charm. Each piece has been kiln dried and given a semi-smooth wire brush finish.
Furniture frame has a 1 year warranty against manufacturing workmanship and defects.
