They are made of furniture grade quality Pynkado Rosewood. Each wood slat is actually 7/8'' thick and the entire tile with backing is 1.25'' thick.

Rosewood has a rot resistance rating of 25 years. It is a perfect wood for all weather climates in North America.
To maintain the new wood looks we recommend applying once or twice a year Cabot Australian Timber Oil.
The plastic interlocking grid comes connected to the back of the deck tile which allows you to easily snap them together using only your hands. The plastic backing elevates the tile off the surface to allow for ventilation and drying.
Tiles are available in a 12'' x 12'' with six wood slats per tile. Each 12'' x 12'' style box has 10 tiles which will cover approximately 10 square feet.
