Recycled Cypress and Stainless Steel Chaise Lounge

This contemporary designed chaise lounge chair from Edwin Blue is hand-crafted in the United States using ‘'Sinker Cypress'' and stainless steel.

‘'Sinker Cypress'' refers to the cypress logs that sunk to the bottom of various rivers in the US as they were being floated to wood mills to be processed. They sat on the river bottoms for decades to 100 years or longer. The cold water temperatures and lack of sun light allowed sediment to collect inside the wood giving it a unique coloration. It is ideal for use outdoors due to its high oil content making it resistant to rot, decay and insect infestation.

The wood finish used is a VOC (volatile organic compounds) free vegetable ester solvent. It is a combination of plant waste extract and Rosewood seed oil.

The machined aluminum wheels have a while powder coated finish that is free of VOC's, metal, lead, chromate and solvents.

The back has several adjustable positions including flat. A full length outdoor cushion is also available. It is constructed with a quick drying exterior foam with a removable cover made of Sunbrella® fabric. Sunbrella is an outdoor acrylic fabric which is extremely resistant to moisture and colorfast against sunlight.

A matching side table in two sizes is also available.

Furniture frames have a 1 year warranty against manufacturing workmanship and defects.

You will receive this item by truck delivery. The trucking company will call and schedule a time when someone will be present to accept the delivery. They will deliver the item curbside and you will be responsible for moving it into your home.
