This elegant cast stone water fountain will age naturally over time as it is exposed to the elements.

The artisinal finishing techniques that are used make every piece a uniquely beautiful original. The patina finish is designed to replicate the look of the natural aging process.

Your garden fountain will arrive mostly assembled but may require two people to set the larger pieces in position. The water pump and all hardware are included.

It is 42" high and 21" wide and weighs 296 lbs. The fountain shown in the picture has an Alpine Stone finish. It is available in several different color finishes.

Cast Stone Winter Care
All of our cast stone pieces are manufactured with a high density cast stone mix with a PSI strength of 7500. While this high density mixture is designed to produce a strong and durable product, proper maintenance is recommended to protect your product from the freeze thaw cycles that occur in winter. Any piece which can hold water, snow or ice or that is placed directly on the ground surface can be damaged by the winter freeze cycles.

We suggest that fountain tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills up with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack.

All garden fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface.

Natural Aging and Efflorescence
Part of the natural aging cycle for all cast stone products is a chemical reaction between salts found in natural materials and water. This reaction is called efflorescence. The degree of efflorescence will vary depending on weather conditions. When mother nature produces rainy, cold windy weather, the calcium carbonate (salt) contained in the raw materials used to make cast stone will be drawn to the surface and will appear as a chalky white residue on the surface of the piece. The residue will disappear as more of the same weather conditions complete the efflorescence cycle and will disappear as the chalky white residue washes away. The efflorescence process occurs only once.

Each piece of cast stone will age differently. Mother Nature will ultimately determine the appearance each piece will acquire as it ages. However, these natural processes can be minimized by scrubbing and cleaning the affected areas with a soft brush.

You will receive this item by truck delivery. The trucking company will call and schedule a time when someone will be present to accept the delivery. They will deliver the item curbside and you will be responsible for moving it into your home.
