It is constructed of an industrial grade fiberglass that is stronger than clay, concrete and even cast iron. The bronze color finish actually extends throughout the fiberglass and will not peel, flake or fade away.
Small scratches or chips can simply be buffed away to restore the natural color and luster. The antique bronze color has green patina edges which will continue to patina with time.
