The palm fronds are made of heavy-duty canvas and have a pre-formed rattan spine that retains the graceful palm arch. The trunk is made of PVC and wood and wrapped with canvas to create a very natural looking textured bark. The canvas is coated with a weather resistant emulsion and clear lacquer.
The artificial outdoor Ponytail Palm is available with a beautifully realistic painted palm green finish or in bleached white canvas. In full sunlight the painted tree may have some color fading after three years.
The trunk has a concrete weighted base for stability in the wind. Place your palm in your own pot or in your garden bed and cover the base with soil.
